Event Schedule
Day 1 - Saturday, August 8
Skills Clinic: Instructed by your assigned college coach.
Pool Play: Team play with your assigned team, coached by your college coach. Each team will play 4 games. Game results will determine team seeding for tournament play.
Day 2 - Sunday, August 9
Skills Clinic: Instructed by your assigned college coach.
Tournament Play: Teams will compete in a single elimination tournament
FAQs
ls this a coed event?
Yes. Boys and girls teams will be assembled separately.
What colleges will the coaches be from?
There will be coaches representing NCAA Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA schools from around the state of Illinois.
What should players wear?
Each registered player will receive a reversible uniform to be worn throughout the event.
Are meals provided?
No. Please bring a packed lunch and/or snacks. There will also be available time between games to purchase food off-site. There are multiple restaurants within 1-2 miles of the venue.
Are spectators allowed at this event?
Yes. Family and friends are encouraged to support their players. Admission: Adults - $10, Youth - $5
How will game playing time be determined?
All coaches will be instructed to give equal playing time to all players during pool play. All players will play during tournament play, but minutes may differ.
Can players request specific teammates?
No. It is our goal to make the teams as even as possible.
Should players stay the night in Champaign?
Reserving a hotel is not required, but we do recommend making arrangements to prevent absence or tardiness due to travel. There are multiple hotels within 1 mile of the venue.
Who is eligible to participate in this event?
Any incoming male or female high school Sophomore, Junior, or Senior for Fall 2020.
How will players be placed on teams?
Players will be placed based on information gathered during registration (age, height, weight). Rosters will be subject to change.
How long are the games?
All games will consist of two 20 minute halves.
Will awards be given?
Yes. Awards will be given to the first and second place finishers of the tournaments.
