We are extremely excited to invite you and your varsity basketball team to the Team Culture Camp taking place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Champaign Central High School.  This free camp will host varsity basketball teams from different high schools from around the area and will offer a distinct opportunity for your athletes to grow together.  Your players will spend the day learning valuable lessons from different community leaders in breakout sessions and through the service of others as the athletes volunteer their time and effort in the afternoon at a free youth basketball camp. 

The breakout sessions will teach your athletes valuable lessons on communication, trust, accountability, attitude, and encouragement. In addition, they will have the opportunity to build team cohesion as they serve together at a free community youth basketball camp later that day.

Growing Together Through the Service of Others

Your athletes will learn the importance and value of serving others. One of the morning Breakout Sessions will provide a time for you and your athletes to plan drills for your athletes to teach and facilitate at the Free Kids Camp. This will be a great opportunity for your athletes to work together on a common goal that focuses on others instead of self.

 

FCA Coaches Huddle

We want to help you build a championship culture in your program. While your athletes are being enriched in the morning Breakout Sessions, you and the other coaches will be participating in a time of uplifiting and encouragement that will help you fine tune your coaching efforts.

 

The Mental Health of Your Athletes is Vital

Our parterns from Ascend CHC will be in attendance to not only raise your program’s awareness for mental health, but to also provide valuable tools and resources to better serve your athletes and help ensure their mental health.
